As many of you loyal listeners know I wear multiple pats in the tech world and while most of that time it is what I thrive on, sometimes its crashes. This week was a major crash and burn and I sincerely apologize for the delay.
Safe to say Bob has already got a jab in over this as he has no fear holding my feet to the fire:)
In this edition Bob and I talk about Google’s WiFi blooper plus the weeks Tech News.
Episode 197 should be posted by Monday as well. Thanks for listening!
Sorry for the late posting, but we had some technical issues with sound and lost some of the show. I recovered all but about 6 minutes. Here is what was lost. Bob got a new Jawbone Bluetooth headset and he does discuss it in detail later in the show, however, we lost his shopping experience. I gave a teaser to my digital camera shopping escapade for the next episode #196, but in lieu of the mix up I’ll save that story for episode #197.
This episode Bob gives great detail on the Jawbone bluetooth headset and why he chose it over the Motorola. I add in the best stereo headset for bluetooth as a viable option as well. Plenty of tech news this week topped off with Adobe firing back ate Apple over HTML5.
In preparation for some changes we will be numbering each episode from hence forth. Thanks for your continued support and keep the questions and suggestions coming!
After careful scrutiny and examination we are 99% certain that the May 15th show will be episode #195. So I am thinking a party with lots of prizes sounds great for episode #200. Any suggestions?
Chad
In this edition of TechTalk, Jason , Bob , Chad and surprise guest Jonathan talk about Apple and Microsoft calling a truce on HTML5 while Apple faces it’s pending legal woes. Meanwhile Adobe CTO Kevin Lynch pledges that Adobe aims to produce the best HTML5 tools in the biz and that Apple’s stance against Flash only hurts existing users of Flash content. Also, Jason revels a hot new take on sound for first person shooters while revealing a free game now available. All this and more, with a little fun along the way, in this edition of TechTalk with Chad Hembree.

Jason, Robert, and Chad host special guest Don Rinthen this week. From Don’s years on Navy Subs to Chemical Free Water treatment this show is packed with great stories and good info. As usual the show is started with latest Tech news including: Ipad: Good for running a small nation?, Apple’s buzz about the new Iphone, Windows 7 based Archos 9 Tablet hits the scene, Google releases remote printing and much more.
Chad discusses his trip to see Discovery’s last launch and Obama’s speech to NASA. Bob talks about why we dislike AT&T and Facebook pulls a fast one on developers.
In this weeks episode we discuss Boone Tavern Hotel joining the elite ranks of certified “green” hotels. Chad also experiments with solar cell phone chargers, hear his review.
